My 50 Favorite Pokémon Picker

Select and arrange your top 50 favorite Pokémon in a premium 5x10 visual grid.

What is the Favorite Pokémon Picker?

This picker is basically a simple grid tool made for anyone who wants to sort out and show off their favorite Pokémon. With over a thousand Pokémon now across nine generations, plus all the mega forms, regional variants, and shiny versions, keeping track of your favorites is a mess. We built this so you don't have to deal with messy spreadsheets, random notepad lists, or editing images yourself. You get a clean dashboard where you can filter the entire Dex and click to add them directly to your board.

It works differently than old-school lists. Instead of scrolling forever, you get a clean 3x3 selection pool that updates as you filter. You can search by generation, type, or even specific forms. Everything you do is saved locally in your browser's storage as you go. That means if you accidentally close the tab or reload the page, you won't lose your progress. It's a nice, simple way to put together your dream teams or build lists like your favorite starters, and it's built to look good while doing it.

We made sure the interface feels snappy. When you're dealing with hundreds of Pokémon sprites, typical pages start lagging, especially on mobile. This picker is designed to keep things smooth, using high-quality official artwork and clean dark styling so your final grid stands out. It's also fully responsive, so you can easily customize your roster on your phone while you're on the go.

Once your grid is ready, you can download it as a high-res image or generate a shareable link to send to your friends or post on social media. The tool runs locally in your browser, so it's fast, doesn't upload your images anywhere, and works completely fine offline.

How to Use the Picker Tool

Building your grid is pretty straightforward. Here is how it works:

  1. Pick Your Grid Size: Use the toggle buttons on the top right to choose between a 50-slot grid or a 100-slot grid. You can switch between them whenever you want, but keep in mind that switching to a smaller size will cut off any extra Pokémon you've already added.
  2. Filter the Pool: Click the Filters button on the left to open the menu. You can sort the pool by generations (Gen 1 through Gen 9), type, or text search.
  3. Add Pokémon: Click on any Pokémon card in the 3x3 selection pool to add it to the first open slot in your favorites grid on the right.
  4. Drag to Reorder: If you want to rearrange your board, just click and drag the cards around to swap their positions.
  5. Remove Pokémon: If you want to take a Pokémon off your grid, click it directly on the favorites board, and it will free up the slot.
  6. Save and Share: When you're done, use the buttons below the grid to download a clean PNG image of your board or generate a link to share your roster online.
